To paraphrase an old adage, "It takes a team to create the village's newspaper."

It takes a dedicated team of news reporters, graphic designers, circulation staff, ad sales reps, accounting staff, customer service professionals, administrators, freelancers, journalism students and community contributors to "build" the Tribune every week, and get it into your hands.

The staff of the Northern Kittitas County Tribune has grown to reflect the growth in our communities. We are members of those communities ourselves, and take pride in our role as stewards of the "Blackboard of the Community" and we take that responsibility very seriously.

To better acquaint you with those who hold up that blackboard every week, we would like to introduce ourselves to you. We welcome your news tips, feedback and insights, and have provided contact information to help you do that.

A special thank you to a very important part of our staff . . . YOU!
We rely on you, as a community member, to provide us with news tips and leads, feedback that helps guide our direction, photos and stories about community events, and advertising and subscriptions that allow us to produce this newspaper to share with everyone. You see, it is community members like yourself who multiply our eyes and ears by thousands to uncover news items of interest to share with your neighbors, which would be impossible for a staff of our size to find on our own. It also takes a lot of resources to gather the information, format it, print and distribute the news to everyone, so we also wish to thank our advertisers, and encourage everyone to just say thanks to them once in awhile for sponsoring your "Blackboard of the Community." We appreciate all of your contributions, and encourage you to continue!
