1401 Arboretum Drive
Yakima, WA 98901
Mark your calendars and tell your friends & family that the annual Luminaria walk through the Yakima Area Arboretum is scheduled for December 14 & 15 from 6 PM to 9 PM.
Expect a night of enchantment as volunteers and staff line a mile long pathway through the wintry landscape of the Yakima Area Arboretum with over a 1000 candle-it bags.
Listen to the music of the Arboretum's Carillon Bell Tour as you venture past the tallest lighted Christmas Tree in Central Washington, stroll through the twinkling lights of the Japanese Garden, then onto the Jewett Interpretive Center where you will enjoy steaming cups of Starbuck's coffee, hot Tree Top apple cider and tasty treats from the kitchen of Zirkle Fruit, live music performed each hour by various local artists, fun children's crafts, and shopping in the Tree House Gift Shop.
The trail is relatively flat and designed to be used without a flashlight. Ample parking available.
