Outdoor Speaker Series: Jon Kedrowski, 'Climb Your Own Everest'

Acclaimed author and world-class mountaineer Jon Kedrowski wraps up the Outdoor Pursuits and Rentals (OPR) Outdoor Speaker Series Thursday, Feb. 28 at 7:30 p.m. in Student Union and Recreation Center (SURC) Theatre. Admission is free and open to the public.

Come listen to Kedrowski discuss his adventures climbing the tallest mountains in the world, and in particular, his climb to the summit of Mt. Everest last may. When he was only 800 feet from the top, disaster struck and Kedrowski found himself in the middle of the second deadliest storm in Mt. Everest history.
