5k set for April 6 raises funds for local non-profit

The CWU Wellness Center and University Recreation are hosting the Run, Walk and Roll Your Way
Through The Route to Hope 5k Saturday, April 6 at 9 a.m. at the CWU
Welcome Center, on the corner of University Way and Pearl Street.
Everyone is invited after to enjoy refreshments and educational booths
with local businesses promoting violence awareness.

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. that morning and is $15 for CWU
students, $20 for general and includes a 5k technical shirt.
Participants are also able to register early by calling the CWU Wellness
Center at 509-963-3213 or stopping by the Recreation Center front desk.
All proceeds from the event will go to Ellensburg Abuse Support and
Prevention Education Now (ASPEN).

ASPEN is dedicated to the elimination of abuse and sexual assault and
all other forms of oppression through social change. ASPEN is a
non-profit program of Central Washington Comprehensive Mental Health,
and all services are free and confidential.
