Marketing to Central's 9,000 students is a struggle
for many businesses, as students primarily use
electronic media and often don't "get" Kittitas County's
small town retail and service businesses.
Over coming months the Chamber,
working with CWU, will be offering seminars
and advice about what students want and ways to
reach them as customers.
Join us for the first session on
Wednesday January 30, 6:00 pm
at Hal Holmes Center where Carmen Rahm,
CWU's head of Information Technology,
will introduce CWU Mobile and
the COMMUNITY Applet, two services
popular with students and now available to local businesses.
