Join the Kittitas County Historical Museum on Wednesday, October 30th at 6pm for a discussion of "A World of Sweets in Washington State" by anthropologist Julia Harrison.  Through this unique conversation, learn what the diverse range of treats we enjoy across
Washington state reveals about our shared history and culture. By showing how our own familiar favorites correspond to and differ from examples in other communities, anthropologist Julia Harrison will encourage a deep level of understanding about the ways in which sweet foods shape our relationships and reveal our priorities.

This event is free and refreshments will be served. For more information about the lecture or Humanities Washington, visit http://www.humanities.org.
